Introduction:- 

Resistor is not basically a semiconductor or electronics device, but it is an important component for electronics circuit. If it is not, electronics circuit is not formed in many cases. Therefore, the device that blocks the flow of electricity and causes the voltage drop in the line is called resistor. Its symbol is R, the unit of measurement is ohm and the name of the measuring instrument is ohm meter.

Use of Resistor in Electronics Circuits:-

Resistors of different quality are used for proper functioning of electronic devices and supply of different quality of voltage and current between different parts of the circuit. Resistors provide the required current and voltage for the loads used in the circuit by blocking the current flow and causing the line voltage to drop.
